On September 15, 2026, Odawara reported access to one employee’s mailbox while seconded to its German subsidiary from March 27 to August 31. About 3,500 messages, including some from 2018, were viewed. Impersonated payment instructions caused financial harm to some partners. Password reset, session revocation and offsite MFA were implemented.
