On 6 August 2025 SWISS reported that SharePoint permissions exposed assessment records to some staff and partners for about two months. Access was blocked after discovery on 1 August. Passenger data was unaffected; SWISS said this was not a hack.
Scope: A PHP connection and response to the current PHP vulnerabilities are not listed.
What users should do
Affected staff or applicants should consult SWISS notifications; recipients of downloaded records were asked to delete them and not share them.
