Misconfigured cloud-storage permissions potentially allowed technical access to identity-document images and older chats. Up to 49,309 distinct people were in scope. The company cannot determine actual viewing because access logs were unavailable. Permissions were corrected on October 14–15, 2026 and document images deleted on October 16. Passwords and payment-card data were excluded.
