The 8 September 2026 FAQ explains configuring a TOTP authenticator through the IG Trading app, with codes also usable on the web. MT4 is explicitly unsupported. This is not an incident announcement.

Scope: A PHP connection and response to the current PHP vulnerabilities are not listed.

What users should do

Configure 2FA in Account → Security in the updated app. Never share codes; if the device is lost, contact support through the official FAQ for identity-verified recovery.
