On October 23, Nomios said its teams continued monitoring and threat hunting for PHP2Shell. Customers are advised to inventory PHP assets, patch and restart processes, and investigate anomalies.

Scope: Patching the original two CVEs and mitigating CVE-2026-115560 are separate actions. Configuration mitigation does not replace PHP updates.

What users should do

Patch affected PHP and restart all workers. For the separate related issue CVE-2026-115560, Nomios recommends disabling session.upload_progress, restarting workers and leaving it disabled until the next PHP release. Contact your account manager for help.
