Official guidance requires PHP fixes for both CVEs. October4 supports fixed PHP8.2–8.5; October3 compatibility depends on its Laravel configuration.

Scope: CMS updates do not patch PHP. Distinguish October3's default Laravel9 from3.4 with Laravel10; legacy versions are not automatically unpatchable.

What users should do

Apply a compatible fixed PHP build or host backport and restart PHP/Apache as applicable. For October1/2, confirm PHP7.4/8.0 patch availability with the host and plan migration.
