Shared hosting provides PHP selection through cPanel's Select PHP version. Official VPS guidance assigns OS updates and security patches to PTisp for managed plans, while unmanaged customers manage their software. A deployment notice for the two CVE fixes has not been verified.

Scope: Shared cPanel hosting and the responsibilities of managed versus unmanaged VPS plans are distinguished. Managed-service responsibility alone is not proof of completed remediation.

What users should do

Check your management contract. Ask PTisp to confirm PHP remediation on managed plans; update installed PHP yourself on unmanaged plans. Test applications after selecting PHP on shared hosting.
